Meet Dr. Angy Mounir-Toufils DMD

Dr. Angy Mounir is a graduate from University of Louisville school of dentistry in Louisville KY. She practices general comprehensive dentistry which includes periodontal and hygiene programs, oral surgery, removable and fixed prosthodontics, complete dentures, implants and many cosmetic procedures such as all ceramic crowns and veneers.

Dr. Mounir is a proud member of the American Dental Association (ADA), the Ohio Dental Association (ODA), and the Dayton Dental Society (DDS). She enjoys listening to music, spending time with family, shopping and seeing people smile.

Dr. Mounir will help the fearful dental patient experience to be gentle and relaxing making sure every patient leaves with a smile.

Shannon – Dental Assistant

Shannon graduated from Fortis College in 2015. She completed the DANB Dental Assisting Program in 2017.

“I truly love what I do. I take pride in comforting patients and making their dental visit as pleasant as possible.”

Shannon has many hobbies she enjoys when she is not working. Movies are a favorite pastime. She also likes to stay physically active by doing Zumba, cardio dance classes and lifting weights. Shannon has three children and three stepchildren with her husband James.

 

Rebecca – Dental Assistant

Rebecca graduated from the Southwestern Dental Assisting School in Lebanon, Ohio in 2007, where she was valedictorian of her class. Away from the office Rebecca stays very busy with her family. She has two children, son Tyler and daughter Hannah. Rebecca is a very proud grandmother of one grandson who she loves spending time with. She is also active in her church. Rebecca has been married to her high school sweetheart, Joe, since 1995. Together they enjoy traveling and hiking.

 

Kelly – Front Desk

Kelly started out as a chairside assistant after graduating with honors from Fortis College in 2013, and has worked in office administration since 2014. Kelly has two children, son Brady and daughter Lexie. She has been happily married to her husband Tim since 2018. Kelly loves animals and says she is “crazy about llamas and alpacas”. Her hobbies include spending time with her family and dogs, decorating and shopping.

 

Bonnie – Office Manager

Bonnie has been in office administration since 2010. Her main focus is to ensure that each patient is welcomed into our practice and treated with kindness and respect. In her spare time Bonnie looks forward to spending time with family and shopping. She and her husband Mike frequently take road trips and enjoy going to the movies.

 

Jennifer – Dental Hygienest

Jennifer is a native Daytonian. She graduated from the Dental Hygiene program at Sinclair Community College in 2003. In 2005 she returned to the college as a clinical instructor in the Dental Hygiene department for a period of three years.

“I take a very comprehensive approach to patient care. I feel that treating the patient as a whole is crucial, not only their oral health. The mouth truly is the window to the body.”

Jennifer has completed the AAOSH, American Academy of Oral Systemic Health, year long course of study on using oral DNA screening to help with more effective treatment of periodontal disease. She has a varied career experience that ranges from periodontal to cosmetic dentistry. Maintaining certifications and professional affiliations has always been important to Jennifer. She is an active member of the American Dental Hygienists Association, The Ohio State Dental Association as well as the local component of The Dayton Dental Hygienists Association. She currently holds certification in general supervision, nitrous oxide monitoring and is certified to administer local anesthesia.

Jennifer, her husband Bryan and son Jacob are avid animal lovers and have four rescue dogs. In her free time she enjoys gardening, cooking, volunteering and spending time with family. She also proudly served in the United States Army.
